Willboag Logistics, the specialist transport arm of Willboag Ltd, has added its first fully electric vehicle (EV) to its growing fleet, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, and high-quality service for children and adults with disabilities.
The new electric van, equipped with state-of-the-art accessibility features, will be used to support safe and comfortable transportation for service users attending appointments, education, day services, and community outings.
“This investment is about the future — not just of our fleet, but of the planet and the people we serve,” said William Aboagye, Director of Willboag Ltd. “Our aim is to provide high-quality, dependable transport that’s environmentally conscious and fully tailored to the unique needs of our clients.”
The new electric vehicle includes:
The introduction of the EV is part of Willboag Logistics’ long-term green strategy, which aims to transition 50% of its transport fleet to electric or hybrid models by 2027. The move not only reduces carbon emissions, but also helps local authorities meet sustainability targets while delivering excellent value and safety in transport contracts.
“We believe care and sustainability go hand in hand,” said Mr. Aboagye. “Our new EV is a win for the environment, a win for commissioners, and above all, a win for the people we support every day.”
